Panorama Trial
Seen this before and never really tried it. My first attempt at photo-stitching in Photoshop, to make a panorama. Comment and critique please.
It's been a while
It's been a since I've seen and or driven my car. The weather cooperated (the best it can I suppose) and gave me very little rain/sleet/snow and gray sky. The temperature was around 40, no worries about ice or snow. So, I put on my good wheels and headed to a local park to do a couple shots. Enjoy.

Blog Wrap Up
When I first began the blog assignment, I thought it was going to be a huge pain to take pictures every day and display. It was. However, I didn’t mind doing it after a while.
I like that it’s a place where I can display my work, and have people (especially my classmates) view and critique. I had a deviant art and a flickr account, before I made my blog, so uploading images wasn’t anything new to me. But flickr is very slow, and not very active. Yet deviant art is extremely varied and people will “favorite” your work just because it looks nice, and it’s very rare someone will comment on the process or the technical aspect. Still, I’ve been inspired by other photographers on there so it wasn’t a complete loss.
The assignment “A Photo a Day” was interesting. It made me look at everyday objects, occurrence and people in a new light. For example, kendo practice was just something I did because it interested me and no one really knew about it. But after watching people spar for the first time I knew I wanted to photograph them. And I eventually ended up using it as the subject for my final project this quarter.
The Photo a Day assignment also got me out of my dorm and onto campus, without it I probably would have missed out on a lot of things. For instance, the snow jam that happened next to the tiger. I saw it happening on my way to class, and I knew I wanted to come back and shoot it as it would be a great addition to my blog.
In closing, the blog was a good assignment and I plan to continue using through out my photographic career until a get a webpage of my own.
